Ivytrail is an extremely handsome dark brown tom with a trail of white and light, creamy brown spots trailing from his nose, over one of his bright green eyes, and over that side down to his tail-tip. He is quiet, brave and strong, and doesn't speak often unless it's nessecary or just valid to the conversation.
Life[]
Ivykit was born to Duskwhisker and Hawkeye along with his sister, Songkit. He is first seen when Russetkit sights him with Duskwhisker and the elder Mousefur. The two she-cats are trying to get the young tom to talk for some reason, but Ivykit refuses, getting up and leaving. He pads over to Songkit, and tells her quietly that Moonbriar said that he might be going mute. Songkit tells Russetkit the news a bit too loudly, and Deerkit, Bramblekit, and Robinkit, Russetkit's siblings, start to tease him about it. When Russetkit tells them to stop, a scuffle breaks out and is quickly ended by Amberfire and Duskwhisker. Amberfire's kits angrily apologize to Ivykit, and then are ordered into the nursery by their mother. As Duskwhisker tells Russetkit thank you for standing up for Ivykit, she tells them that she is going to take her son into the nursery, where he sleeps quietly while Russetkit and Songkit play, and Duskwhisker and Amberfire talk.
Ivykit and his denmates are made apprentices, and he is given the name Ivypaw, and his mentor is now Dawnleaf. The she-cat takes him and Songpaw, along with Russetpaw and their mentors out into the forest. A WaterClan patrol attacks them, and Ivypaw takes charge of Russetpaw, telling him to fight while he sends Songpaw for back up. As she returns with Nightfang, Lightningsky, and more unknown warriors, the WaterClan patrol retreats, rather unhappily.
Later, Ivypaw is paired up with Russetpaw to hunt for their warrior assessment. He goes off to hunt a vole, thinking Russetpaw will be there to help him with it, but he wasn't. He catches the vole, and then keeps on hunting, unaware of the situation going on with the other apprentices and his sister.
Ivypaw is made a warrior, now named Ivytrail. His sister is now Songfoot, and the other apprentices are now Russetheart, Bramblestrike, Deertail and Robinfeather. As the warrior vigil is over, he quietly joins the dawn patrol, not tired enough to sleep besides the fact he was awake all night.

Trivia[]
- Ivytrail knows that Hawkeye is his father, but doesn't hate him for not being there.
- The young warrior is said to be a mute by some cats, but it is his choice not to talk.
- He and Songfoot might of had a brother who died at birth.
